What level of fitness do I need to run the 50km race?

We welcome runners of all levels, from beginners to experienced athletes. If you can run a marathon, with training, you can run the 50km race. If you'd prefer to run the 25km race, we'd suggest you are capable of running a half-marathon.

How much running will we be doing each day?

The weekly schedule is a typical taper week, which includes mainly recovery and easy runs, with one short interval session on the course. The goal is to freshen up before you race on Sunday.

What is included in the camp package?

Our package includes accommodation, breakfast and dinner, race entry, race recce, all scheduled runs, transportation for all outings, a support vehicle, and daily coaching workshops. Airport transfers are also covered.

Is there downtime for recovery and sightseeing?

Yes, we build in time to rest and explore Granada and some favourite local places. You’ll have opportunities to relax, enjoy the local cuisine, and visit cultural spots throughout the week.

What should I bring with me?

You’ll need your race and running gear, including road shoes, comfortable clothing for warm and cool weather, sun lotion, a hydration pack if you race with it, and any personal nutrition for energy and recovery. We highly recommend packing these in your carry on luggage.

Can I come alone, or do people usually bring a friend or training partner?

Many participants come solo and find it easy to connect with others at all of our camps. Whether you come alone or with a friend, you'll feel welcomed into a supportive community of runners.
